'09 Season Update

Regional Tournament Update... A Cinderella Story!
We all love a Cinderella Story and Jersey Fusion is this year’s regional tournament Cinderella’s! Jersey Fusion was ranked last in the tournament with having 3 losses during the season and was the only team that had to play back to back games on Saturday to get to the championship game on Sunday. The first game, we were up against the #4 seed Delaware Lady Destroyers at 1PM and at 6PM against the #1 seed NYC Exodus (Team Jordan). Both games were a battle but we came out victorious and we were headed to the championship game!

We entered into the championship game with confidence and believing that we had nothing to loose and everything to gain. We were out numbered in numbers but not in talent, with only having 5 girls (Carrie Moore, Geneva Livingston, Katie Adams, Leeah Thomas and Tomora Young) to play. We fought hard and gave everything thing we had but fell short. Despite the loss, we were still victorious! Even with the odds against us, we never stop believing and the ladies left it all out there on the court… they are truly champions! Congratulations…you deserve it!

Our season has come to an end but Jersey Fusion will be back even stronger next year!!
